- The Start menu has returned to its rightful place and now contains not only a list of the latest running programs, but also icons-tiles of universal applications, as well as an updated search function.
- Windows 10 supports two types of interfaces - regular and touch, using the Continuum function, the user can easily and quickly switch between them.
- OS from Microsoft supported 4K and 8K - screens.
- As in Windows 7, windows can be minimized, resized and closed.
- The Task View feature allows the user to view the windows of all running applications on the screen with the ability to quickly change the active window.

- The tablet and smartphone versions have improved the Snap feature - now up to 4 apps can be open on the screen at the same time.
- In Windows 10, application windows or application groups for different workflows can be placed on virtual desktops. All desktops can be displayed or switched between for a more efficient experience.
